This internship is ideal for a candidate who’s eager to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of business, technology, and data working directly with the CEO on high-level initiatives. You’ll contribute to market research, financial forecasting and competitor analysis that guide key strategic decisions. You’ll also help evaluate new market opportunities, assess potential market segments, and contribute to the development of product strategies. Depending on your interests and background, you may also be involved in R&D budgeting, the development of internal dashboards, or the creation of automated reporting tools. This role blends strategy with technical thinking, and we’re especially interested in candidates who are comfortable working with data and have basic programming familiarity (e.g., Python, JavaScript). Many of our internal workflows are technical in nature, so the ability—and willingness—to engage with these tools is just as important as strong business instincts. This is a great fit for someone who thrives in independent, self-managed environments and wants to learn how data-driven insights inform real-world decisions inside a technology consultancy. **Internship Duration** The internship will run for four months, with the possibility of an extension depending on performance and project needs. **Minimum Requirements** * We welcome applications from graduate-level students in a variety of disciplines, such as Business, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics. * Strong time management skills and the ability to manage tasks independently with minimal supervision. * Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. * Comfort with basic concepts in probability and statistics. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. * Based in Montréal. * Ideally available at times between 10 am – 5 pm EST (flexible). **Nice-to-Have** * Experience in market research, forecasting, or business analysis. * Exposure to SaaS or software consultancy-style business models. * Interest in startup operations, internal automation, or process optimization. * Basic familiarity with programming concepts. * French fluency is a bonus. #### Perks Some perks of working with us include: - Work from home (we’re fully remote!). - Flexible working hours. - Exposure to the day-to-day operations of a growing technology consultancy. - Potential for extension or future collaboration based on performance. - Strong culture emphasis on individual autonomy and impact on company direction. ## Application Process Our application process is easy and transparent: 1. **30min: Fill out the application [form](https://apply.monadical.io/).** The untimed coding test is optional but a plus. 2. **30min: Conversational interview** Chat with Ana (no whiteboarding or quizzing). 3. **Small Take-Home Assignment** This task is designed to simulate real-world scenarios you might encounter in the role. 4. **45 min – Collaborative Session with the Leadership Team** First 15 min: Present your project to the team; Next 15 min: The team will ask questions about your project; Final 15 min: Open discussion. During this session, we’ll be looking for your business knowledge, critical thinking, strategic decision-making, and communication skills. The whole process usually takes 2 weeks depending on the applicant pipeline and response times. **Please note:** All opportunities are handled directly. We do not engage with recruitment agencies.
